Eddie Treviño, Jr. is a partner and founder of Treviño & Bodden, and is proud to currently serve Brownsville, Texas as its Mayor. Mr. Treviño has extensive federal and state trial experience involving complex legal matters which include commercial and business disputes, wrongful death, nursing home cases, work-place injuries, product liability, automobile accidents, criminal matters, and family law cases. He has represented many individuals with serious injuries in negligence cases and has also represented national and international corporations in both federal and state courts.
His legal practice includes criminal defense, family law, Plaintiff's personal injury, catastrophic injuries, wrongful death, motor vehicle accidents, 18-wheeler accidents, and commercial litigation. Mr. Treviño also provides mediator services and local counsel services to out-of-town attorneys. Mr. Treviño is fluent in Spanish.

Mr. Treviño attended St. Mary's University in San Antonio, Texas where he graduated Cum Laude in 1986 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in International Relations. Mr. Treviño received his law degree from the University of Texas Law School in Austin, Texas in 1989.

Personal
Eddie Treviño, Jr. was born and raised in Brownsville, Texas. Mr. Treviño's family is from Brownsville, and is active in several businesses in the community. Mr. Treviño served Brownsville as a city commissioner from 2001 to 2003, and was elected as Brownsville's Mayor in 2003. His term as Mayor runs through May 2007.
Mr. Treviño is involved in various civic groups and organizations, including a 14-year membership in the North Brownsville Rotary Club. He serves as an ex-oficio member of the Brownsville Public Utilities Board, the municipally-owned utility operation. He is also a member of the Veterans' Park Committee, the Animal Shelter Advisory Board and volunteers his services to the Tip of Texas Family Outreach Group.
Mr. Treviño is married to Patricia Zepeda Treviño and they have three children: Elyssa, Steven and Emily. Mr. Treviño and his family are members of the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Brownsville, Texas.
